Our Pledges
As a social business engaged in professional advisory services, CF Asia is committed to a continuous betterment of our own performance when it comes to corporate social and environmental responsibilities.
Carbon Neutral Office
CCA commits to a set of low carbon environmental policies in our office operations. We also measure and record our operational carbon footprint every year covering scopes 1, 2 and 3 based on ISO 14064 and fully offset the emissions to make our office carbon neutral.
Social Caring Pledge (2016)
In January 2016, CCA co-signed the Social Caring Pledge. The Pledge is a scheme which recognizes businesses that are committed to the six principles derived from the ethos behind the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).Paris Pledge for Action (2015)
In December 2015, CCA joined the Paris Pledge for Action, an appeal which brings together hundreds of non-state actors from across the globe in support of the Paris Agreement on climate change. The Paris Pledge for Action is an initiative of the COP21 French Presidency managed by the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
In signing the Paris Pledge for Action, CCA is committed to supporting a safe and stable climate in which temperature rise is limited to under 2 degrees Celsius.
CarbonCare InnoLab
Established in 2014, CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) is the sister organisation of CF Asia and a registered charity based in Hong Kong. CCIL aims to encourage climate innovation which is relevant to local needs and contributes to solving global challenges. This includes climate justice, carbon reduction, resource conservation and action that will assist adaptation and resilience building.
As a community-facing NGO, CCIL is dedicated to supporting the circle of people active in climate innovation, education and action, with a strong focus on youth and students. It aims to achieve this through multi-stakeholder engagement and solution-oriented processes, as well as awareness-building across the community.
Professionals Team
The CF Asia consultancy team is joined by professionals with diversified backgrounds, such as engineering, environmental science and management, policy advocacy, community services, as well as marketing and communications. Our advisory network, constituted by environmental and academic experts, supports the consultancy team by providing professional and state-of-art advice to suit clients’ needs.
