Carbon Care Asia (CCA), whose corporate mission, among others, is to promote low carbon culture in the Hong Kong community, has been engaged by the Hong Kong Disneyland to provide carbon neutrality service to its Project Green Challenge Hong Kong. Under the banner of Disney’s worldwide Disney Friends for Change multi-platform movement, this is an activity programme managed by The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong aiming to team up kids to learn about environmental actions and make an impact in their community.

CCA Chairman Mr Chong Chan Yau was invited to attend the recent launch of this programme, held in the presence of Mr Andrew Kam, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland, and special guests including Dr Roy Chung and Ms Lilian Law, Chairman and Executive Director respectively of The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, Mr KC Leung, Principal of the Fresh Fish Traders’ School and members of the hip-hop band FAMA.

CCA will make all public activities related to Project Green Challenge Hong Kong, carbon neutral through the purchase of carbon offsets from a mix of UN-recognised afforestation and renewable energy projects.
