Carbon Care Asia is delighted to partner again with travel magazine Weekend Weekly this year in its annual Go Green Awards and Go Green Market. As low carbon partner, CCA helped to measure, reduce and offset the event’s carbon emissions and make it carbon neutral.
Held on 26 Oct, 2014 at Stanley Square, the “Weekend Weekly Go Green Awards 2014 + Go Green Market” presented awards to 15 individuals and organisations to acknowlege their contribution to conservation and recycling work. Various local groups and NGOs were also invited to host second-hand goods stalls or upcycling workshops. The purpose was to make the public more conscious of resource conservation and to encourage them to adopt a low carbon lifestyle.
