CCA is pleased to have been engaged by the East Point City in its Green Christmas Project this year. As the Project’s Green Partner, CCA issued a “Sustainable Consumption Guide” and also provided professional advisory service to help spread the low-carbon and sustainable consumption message amongst Christmas shoppers.
In this “Sustainable Consumption Guide”, CCA provided practical guidance on six types of the most frequently selected festive gifts for consumers to shop in an environmental-friendly, fair and sustainable way. CCA was also appointed by East Point City to conduct a carbon appraisal for its Christmas Gift Recycling Project. In the past 6 years, the carbon emissions reduction achieved by the Project is equivalent to the amount of CO2 absorbed by 5,898 five-meter-tall trees in a year. East Point City took a further step to purchase carbon offsets to neutralize this year’s project launch, making it truly a CarbonCare® Event.
