The Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures – Scenarios for Survival

Since the release of TCFD’s landmark “Final Report” in June 2017, many regulators and oversight bodies including central banks, monetary authorities, stock markets, rating and accounting organisations and major business groups are working on ways to turn the TCFD outline into clear reporting requirements to addresses the clear, present and rapidly widening concerns of various stakeholders on the financial implications of climate change to companies and businesses. This issue is a summary of our key observation on TCFD’s recommendations and disclosure guide, including the scenario planning challenge.
