CCA made an attractive display of its products and services in the Hong Kong Pavilion organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Industries (HKFI) and the Environmental Protection Department, HKSAR at the 2011 China International Environmental Protection Exhibition and Conference (CIEPEC), which was held from 7th to 10th June, 2011 in Beijing.
The CIEPEC, now in its 12th session, is the largest, longest-running and most prestigious environmental exhibition in China. It is sponsored by China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and exclusively organized by the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry (CAEPI). More information can be found here.
The theme of the exhibition this year is “Energy Saving, Emission Reduction & Green Development”. CCA took this opportunity to focus promotion on its unique one-stop carbon management service and different types of carbon offset projects to the Mainland enterprises and the public at large. During the exhibition, many local visitors were keen to find out more about the new concept of “carbon management” and its actual practices, agreeing that this emerging trend would greatly impact the future economic development of China.
It was the first time CCA joined a national event of its kind. Mr Edward Yau, the Secretary for the Environment, visited our booth and exchanged his views with CCA staff members at the Exhibition.
