CCA has co-organised a seminar with HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) on 23 Nov 2019 during a college open day to share with participants the importance of nurturing more sustainability professionals in Hong Kong.
Ir Albert Lai, CCA Chief Executive Officer, discussed climate change in a global context such as how climate change is related to social inequality and what are the pillars of sustainable development. He also shared with participants his insights on sustainability from a risk perspective, the regulatory trends related to ESG reporting and the emergence of green finance.
At the end of the seminar, Ir Albert Lai introduced the “Sustainability Professionals” and “Climate Competence” certification programs, which are co-offered by CCA & HKU SPACE. Both commencing in February 2020, they are now open for registration. The curriculum of the two courses can be found at:
