Congratulations to our Chief Economist on ranking #1 in “2024 Best Rising Stars of Science”
Dr. Farhad Taghizadeh-Hesary, Chief Economist of Climate Finance Asia, has been ranked first in the “2024 Best Rising Stars of Science” in Japan by Research.com. This ranking, in its third edition, is based on data from the Microsoft Academic Graph, with evaluations conducted on November 21, 2023. It considers scientists whose first publication is from the last 12 years, with rankings determined by the general H-index.
Out of 166,880 scientists analyzed, Dr. Taghizadeh-Hesary stood out for his work in energy policy, economics, and finance. His recent focus has been on green finance, particularly designing policies and instruments to attract private sector investment in renewable energy, including the globally recognized green credit guarantee scheme.
