To spread the climate care message, CCA is pleased to have provided carbon neutral sponsorship to the 6-day painting exhibition held by Mr Bernard Chan, Executive Councilor and Chairman of the Council for Sustainable Development, and his family members. Entitled “The Art of Three Generations 2013” and held from 16 Feb to 21 Feb, 2013, this joint exhibition showcases the talented works of art by three generations of the Chan family.

The CCA carbon neutral sponsorship for this art exhibition has included the footprint estimation of energy consumption at the venue, as well as the transport emissions incurred by hosts, workers, guests and visitors throughout the exhibition. A 3-tonne carbon credit from the NW Sichuan Afforestation & Reforestation Project was chosen to offset the above emissions and help the event achieve carbon neutral status.
