Carbon Care Asia (CCA) is pleased to have been engaged by the Hong Kong Legislature to conduct its first comprehensive carbon audit for the Legislative Council Complex. The exercise includes thorough review and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions in the Complex in accordance with rigorous international standards and local guidelines. As an independent consultant, CCA also made a series of recommendations for the LegCo Secretariat to take appropriate measures and actions to reduce carbon emissions of the Complex. This is an important step for the Hong Kong Legislature to develop a carbon reduction roadmap in response to the global climate change challenge.
